Best Bank in the World

As someone with a degenerative neuromuscular condition (Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2), having a bank that gives me the tools in an accessible way is really important! Since my Thursday with Monzo my experience has been phenomenal and this is why they are my bank of choice! All the other banks have got a long way to go if they want to try compete for my business. Straight forward and clear banking. Excellent rates and easy transactions. I started using this just for travel but have now moved to more regular / every day usage. Monzo is a bank that actually cares

Monzo is a bank that actually cares about its customers. They have the best savings rates on their easy access pots - you can save AND get your money when you need it. It's your money and that's how they see it too. Any time I've had to dispute a payment and request a chargeback, they've been on my side. Most notable is when all flights were cancelled during the pandemic and airlines were being sneaky about providing refunds (oh, have it as a voucher, if you don't want it - hold with customer service abroad for 2 hours until they hang up on you). Monzo sorted it out for me in a few minutes over a customer support chat. You know when NPS surveys ask you "how likely are you to recommend us to your friends and family?" and all you can think is "why would I ever be talking to my friends about an operating system?". Well. Monzo is one of the few exceptions to this and I have and will continue recommending them to everyone. Keep rocking, Monzo! Reviewed on: 1st February 2024
