Fantastic bank

Since starting banking with monzo my finances have improved greatly, the use of pots to manage my outgoings has been a godsend. I love how they show you pending transactions so if I have forgotten something you can see that it is due within a few days and plan for it. I love the credit insights available on the monzo app, it has helped me track accounts that have been damaging my credit rating so I have known what needs to be worked on to improve my score (which has risen significantly since opening this account). The extra services available such as Contents insurance, cashback and monzo max are really great value for money and all in one easy to manage place. I have seen bad stories about monzo online and in reviews but to date they do not reflect my experience and I hope they never do as the monzo account meets my needs and supports me to make good financial decisions and manage my outgoings. Best bank I’ve been with! Good communication, nice cash back offers and easy to use app! Customer service is always prompt I love monzo as a bank. I’ve even switched my business account to them and my current account! Reviewed on: 12th March 2026

I’ve been with Monzo for 2 years and set up a business account last year and the thing I like about Monzo business is that every month they do a recap of what you earn each month and what out goings have been out. And the most humorous thing is they calculate your out goings to how many pizzas or bananas you could of have brought which is funny Reviewed on: 12th March 2026

7 years of trust with Monzo now in question

I’ve had my account since 2019 and till this year I couldn’t fault it. In those 7 years I’ve had all sorts of money fly from account to account no problem. Then one day Monzo decided to not trust a payment I was making which accumulated to around £2,500 to a contact on my account, me and the other person have almost 300 transactions together, safe to say I trust this person, then out of no where Monzo lock my account and I’ve heard he horror stories…. So I was shaking with anxiety. Luckily it was all cleared up, I understand it was a large some of money but freeze the transaction or something not lock my entire account.
