Cora terrible for the Nat West brand

I have little to add to the negative reviews of Cora, it is beyond useless. It connot understand, let alone answer, simple queries like "Where is the manage my card option in the Nat West app". Surely, when poor technology like this frustrates customers it can only be a matter of time before Nat West implements genuinely useful AI based on an existing knowledge base. Needless to say, Nat West needs to continue to invest in customer service humans at a decent level. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024

Delighted customer since for almost 60 years

Joined the Westminster Bank when I was 18 after a bad experience with another bank. I am now 77 and have never had an issue with NatWest and its predecessors. They have always provided me with products that satisfy my needs - loans, mortgage etc and have never made an accounting mistake. Their employees are always respectful and work quickly to provide answers to any queries. Their banking app is outstanding enabling me to check transactions, make transfers and pay bills. Their security services are excellent, following up quickly on unusual transactions and their new approval process for transactions on the mobile app is brilliant - I feel totally in control of my finances. When my grandson was 18, I took him to my branch to open an account: he met privately with the manager who took him through the whole process - real customer care. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Great bank very supportive and interactive chat function

Most chat bots don't access the bank's database so are a glorified FAQ data base - not very helpful. Cora actually knows how to do stuff like order new cards cheque books locate stuff on links on the web site. The bot also knows who the account holder is and my details making everything much quicker - WELL DONE NAT WEST Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
