I love my Nat West Bank account. There are branches close to me and the online access is great to use and very secure. So secure I often lock myself out of it. Good customer service all round and no fees. Reviewed on: 2nd November 2015

An account that will probably have all the things you will ever need, just don't risk going into the red.

Ever had a 'lite' version of software? then this could be viewed in a similar manner. Think of it as a simple bank account with no frills, so if you won't miss having the likes of a cheque book and won't need the safety net of having an overdraft, this will be an ideal account to have, and as I have found out, it is perfect for my needs, I was even assured by staff that should I need to, I can always apply to upgrade to a more flexible account in the future with a chance of being accepted. Opening up the account was straight forward enough and just needed proof such as a driving licence and proof of address such as a utility bill. The no frills of this account suited me, as it still gave a debit card I could use free of charge in ATMs, I just had to make sure that there was enough cash in my account or else I would be charged some hefty fees if I went overdrawn, but, if you are pretty disciplined with that sort of thing, this should not be a worry, but still needs to be taken into account. All in all, this does most of what other accounts do, and will suit those that are finding it hard to get an account elsewhere because of past credit issues for example. I would highly recommend. Helpful and kind.

My daughter needed a bank account and we went to our local branch and they were very helpful and friendly making it a simple process. They asked my daughter questions that she could answer to help open the account and then gave her all of the information that was needed. It gave her confidence in opening an account and also made her feel grown up doing it. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

A simple bank account

I don't often use my bank account as I am a housewife. I needed a bank account that is simple to use and that has some emergency money just in case. This bank account does all those things and the staff in my local branch are very polite and helpful. I would recommend it to people who have no need of paid features or cards. Excellent Customer Service

I had some financial difficulties and my account went into overdraft on 2 accounts.I rang Natwest to come to some arrangement to get my accounts back in credit.They were fantastic and removed around 70% of all charges which left me to pay a the remaining in installments which was paid up very quickly.I even received a phone call after to inform me they were able to remove extra charges.I could not recommend Natwest enough for the fantastic help they gave me.I will never use a different bank again.Thank You Natwest. I went to the bank a few days ago to set up a new account for my daughter. The member of staff that I spoke to was really kind and helpful.
