I already had a mortgage with Newbury and then remortgaged again with Newbury after my fixed term ended. Easy service and completed well. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Personal service despite a slight hitch!

Most of our dealings with Newbury Building Society about our remortgage were dealt with by our broker. We did have direct contact with one of Newbury's underwriters, Sezanne Brear. She was extremely helpful. However, earlier in the process there was an unfortunate hold up when, it appears, the valuer appointed by Newbury to check our house took nearly two weeks to return his report. As a consequence, our completion date was delayed, adding to our costs. Reviewed on: 10th April 2024

Move from expiring fix to new product
