I would like to call out Eve McDowell who provided me with what I can only describe as the best banking experience I have ever had. And I work in a bank so I know what it is like! The Newbury put things right - I'm impressed.

I had a very bad experience with the Newbury. They were very keen to resolve my issues fairly. They listened and agreed the areas where they had adversely affected the time it took to agree my mortgage and therefore the interest I had to pay the existing mortgage company. They refunded the extra I paid as well as some extra to say sorry. They decided to review a couple of policies that caused the problems. I like a company who listen to their customers and are willing to properly put things right. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2024
