Overall, good mortgage product and customer service

Welcome to see that the Bank of England rate increases were not passed fully on to clients. Redemption of mortgage went through smoothly although the initial response to our Solicitor took a while and had to be chased. Overall, pleased with the service. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023

Excellent Customer Service

Product Transfer

I did speak to my bank, as well as Newbury (who I already had a mortgage with) and they couldn't get close to Newbury's options. I spoke with my mortgage advisor Rose Hallett, who was very helpful and reassuring and finally decided to do a product transfer for a new discounted variable rate. Top quality service

I have been a customer for nearly 20 years and my husband for much longer than that. My husband passed away recently and I felt that all of my queries were handled with much sensitivity and care and with my best interests at heart. Highly professional and friendly loan set-up

In order to purchase a new build property, we had to access bridging finance. We had never done this before and a contact recommended the Newbury Building Society. The support we received from Eve McDowell at NBS helped us through the process and resulted in the loan we needed. Eve's was always helpful and very quick to respond.
