Looked after with great service and deals

Remortgaging

I received communication to let me know that present mortgage deal would end in April 2023. I was advised to get in contact to select a new deal. This was followed up with a reminder. I arranged a telephone interview that took place exactly on time, everything was explained and all my questions answered. I was offered a 3yr or 5yr deal. Excellent speedy service

We managed to obtain a small mortgage through a broker, who had had very positive experiences with Newbury, particularly for the older customer! The whole process was uncomplicated and expedited without any problem. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2023

Friendly and efficient

Good lenders to deal with on the whole

Setting up the mortgage was easy and over the 3 years the service was excellent. It was only when I wanted to pay off the interest-free loan that things got complicated. Each query involved two phone calls to get through to the "mortgage team" even though they were information only. It was difficult to get a date pinned down and when I offered to pay a few days early I was still threatened with a heavy early repayment fee. No one was particularly helpful or proactive and it was two months before I got an acknowledgement that the loan had been paid off. Reviewed on: 24th February 2023

Great service
