Helpful, understanding the techniques needed to obtain a mortgage, patients for the elderly.

Being over 82 I was doubtful if I would get a mortgage especially as I had never had one before. I did own my own property of great value, but I needed £100.000.to complete change of use to the existing property. At my age I needed someone with patience to explain everything and give me advice. i have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and proffessional , excellant customer service

The products on offer are competitive with very fair ( if any ) arrangement fees ) the process of switching was quick and easy , we have found all of our dealings with the Newbury over the last 8 years with savings accounts and mortgages to be very postive , we like this company and would recommend . Great Service

I was in the happy position of being able to pay off my mortgage before it's term. The whole process was straight-forward and took the minimum of effort. No early repayment fee for me, just an admin fee. Will look to open a savings account with you now. Reviewed on: 20th August 2021

Prompt, Efficient, professional - What more could you ask for

Had a requirement for a further advance and from start to finish the process was absolutely seamless. Initial contact was responded to promptly; on the same day; with any further information required; over that provided; requested. Having submitted everything the paperwork was issued within 2 working days, documents signed and returned and we were put in funds within the week. Thank you! Reviewed on: 20th August 2021

Wokingham Office very efficient did become protracted afterwards

Started well at local office level But I had to chase up paperwork and Matt (underwriter) did help to complete the deal and it wasn't totally clear what we had to sign and do which meant we had to redo 2 forms and get witness signatures again which caused unnecessary delay in completion Reviewed on: 13th August 2021
