Mortgage Application

Ours was a bespoke application that required underwriting, which was undertaken rigorously, but sympathetically. Also, there was extended delay between offer and completion that required the offer acceptance period to be extended and this was readily granted without problem Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021

Always Good

Had loads of queries to do with mortgages and savings all tied into selling a house. All members of staff were very helpful. Always friendly and offering options to suit us. NBS staff are always easy to deal with. Top customer service. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021

Super efficient and customer friendly!

From beginning to end, everything went smoothly. We had to delay completion for a couple of weeks (nothing to do with the Newbury) but they were totally flexible and delivered on time when we needed them. Definite 5star experience! Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021

Excellent knowledge and service

Time was taken to discuss my current situation, needs and likely planned changes in the near future. The service was detailed and personalised. Very happy to have worked with Newbury

Good experience end to end. At teams the process appeared to be a little 'old style' in its manual processing and reliance on emails rather than on-line processes but I believe there were issues with your computer systems. Reviewed on: 20th July 2021

Great service with remortgage

We recently remortgaged with Newbury and it was a very simple process with it all being discussed over the phone. All our questions were answered clearly and honestly to find the best deal for us. We cannot fault the customer service. Reviewed on: 16th July 2021

Brilliant customer service

Experience was not bad

I do appreciate that they were the only bank willing to give me 5% before the government incentive to banks started. It’s my first mortgage but people told me it took unusually long. But all in all it went well so I’m grateful and happy. Reviewed on: 7th July 2021
