Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Excellent customer service

I have been so impressed by the service I have received at the Didcot Branch since I joined a year ago. I wish I had joined long ago. Vasilka Miles particularly deserves credit --she has explained all options available to me thoroughly , leaving me confident in making the correct decision on both my savings accounts. . Arranging appointment to open account was very strai...

Arranging appointment to open account was very straightforward. Staff very polite. Appointment started on time. Manager was very understanding and answered our questions without judgement (being old school there are certain modern aspects that we are not confident with - ie online banking). Moving savings to a cash ISA

I wanted to transfer money from my savings account to a cash ISA. I was shown the various options available and having selected the one I considered most suitable the transaction was completed without fuss on the spot. The cashier was knowledgeable efficient and confident in what she was doing. Excellent experience. Reviewed on: 6th July 2024
