Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Lovely friendly Building Society

I recently opened an account in the Newbury branch and was made to feel very welcome and valued. The staff were extremely helpful and the opening of my account was quick and easy. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Help with adding nominated account

I set up a sash ISA and Welcome to Newbury account on Monday 27th March in Wokingham branch. I received my passbooks next day and verification code a couple of days after that. Super quick service! I phoned the My Accounts team and spoke with Rob regarding adding my nominated account details. He couldn't have been more helpful. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

NBS not now local to my family/ friends so wouldn’t recommend for that reason. I had a great deal of trouble gettingthrough on the phone to the branch. I was on hold for 15 minuites + very unsatisfactory. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023
