Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Savings rates very fair and safe.

Our savings were transferred from a major high street bank about 5 years ago. We were disappointed with rates offered by our bank at the time. We moved to Newbury Building Society and have a good rate since. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Great Straight Forward Bank and savings with no Strings

Excellent customer service

I had a query re environmental policy, I posted it on their website thinking "I'll never hear back from anyone on this" as it's obscure, but I got a reply (fulsome) within a matter of a few days. Full marks. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023
