Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Exactly what you need

Newbury Building Society gives everyone what they need regarding savings. A good range of various savings accounts/bonds/ISAs, with comparable interest rates & passbooks, which is unlike other banking facilities. However, for those that require it, there is an online facility. Customer service is excellent & nothing is too much trouble, especially for their elderly clients. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Allways quick to communicate the change in interest rates and above all usually one of the best accounts out there for that little bit extra. Save on having to move money around as they are consistently on the ball and great communication. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

A safe home for my savings

Newbury Building Society offer a good rate of interest on both their Welcome and Existing members account. It is very easy to pay money in and to get money out on line. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023
