Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Excellent clear instructions

I was most impressed with the clarity and overall information given to me regarding opening an account with you also the friendliness and professionalism of your member of staff (I believe it was Chelsea according to her badge) which made the whole experience to use a term "a joy to do business". Opening new savings account online

Opening the account was very straightforward once I had all the information. Unfortunately, the website is not the most intuitive to use. Once you are familiar with it, it is ok, but there are banking sites much easier to negotiate. Face to face and email customer service is great. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2020

Friendly help by myaccounts service

Generally good.

Straightforward login procedure that feels secure. The rules on maximum balance (Welcome to Newbury) and maximum annual deposit (EMA) could be made more prominent. Reviewed on: 11th May 2020

New savings form in the post

Phoned about drop in interest on Welcome account, and if could transfer to £2000 to new existing saver accounting. Form sent in the post and now returned to you. All questions answered quickly and efficiently Reviewed on: 25th April 2020
