Excellent saving rates, friendly staff, most efficient service

I recently joined Newbury Building Society as a new savings investor, being attracted by a very competitive interest rate. My application was completed in branch (Andover) and I was immediately impressed by the friendly and efficient service I received. My savings book arrived 2 days later and this was followed by a member of Newbury Building Society staff checking that my account had been successfully opened. I have been extremely satisfied by the standard of product, the manner in which it has been processed, and the efficient and courteous staff involved in welcoming me to an excellent Building Society. Small is beautiful !

As a customer for over 40 years, first as a mortgagor and then saver both I and my wife have found the Society invariably helpful with well trained staff, competitive savings rates (even in low interest times) with sensible governance and management which has succeeded when larger fish have failed.
