Flexible way to spread online costs

I’ve found PayPal Credit a very handy way to spread the cost of online purchases without having to take out a separate store card or loan. It sits inside my existing PayPal account, so when I’m checking out with retailers that accept PayPal, I can choose PayPal Credit as the payment method and use my available limit straightaway. Paypal credit is convenient and available

PayPal credit is easily accessed and easy to maintain through the app. I haven’t needed to speak to customer services or pay for services so I cannot score on those. I love the PayPal credit card option so purchases can automatically be added to PayPal credit even if the merchant doesn’t accept PayPal - genius move! Online wallet via PayPal debit is also a nice addition but I haven’t had a use case for this yet. I have used PayPal credit for years now and think these are extremely useful additions to their offering. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
