Paypal to the rescue

I have used paypal for so many years and it is so useful and easy to use. It has never caused me any problems and is so beneficial for so many things as it is compatible with so many companies and sites. PayPal is easy to use and offers peace of mind

Using PayPal for online payments gives me confidence that my purchase is safe, with a reliable backup if issues arise. Making payments through websites or the app is straightforward, enhancing user experience. Sending money to friends and family is easy, and I appreciate the payment request link that allows me to specify an amount for repayments. Though I don't often use credit, PayPal credit is a good option for larger purchases. I know my instalment plan or interest-free period, enabling me to spread payments without additional costs. This was especially helpful when my mobile broke on New Year's Day, and needed to buy an unbudgeted replacement. The only issue was the misalignment between the credit start date and the monthly direct debit date. I couldn't adjust it, which risked missing the interest-free period by a few days if I let the final payment occur on its scheduled date. This misalignment probably stems from bank holidays and the original payment setup, forcing me to monitor it. I couldn't set a new automatic payment date, but I could add funds outside the regular payment schedule, which is what I did. It would have been simpler and provided more peace of mind to have everything aligned. Reviewed on: 27th May 2025
