Good, very good. Almost too good. But still good. Not bad, not great, good. Good is the word I would use to describe it. No other word would do on this current context. PayPal has been my main method of payment for online purchases and for receiving money for years. Even though I have the funds to pay for items in full, I frequently use the pay in 3 method to soften the blow or to not feel like I’m spending too much in one go. I think it’s fantastic. Paypal has many features with great perks and easy to use and navigate. Pay in 3 and over four months is very useful. Also the new debit and credit cards are a great new addition with the added bonus now of points you earn which you can then spend. Reviewed on: 18th April 2026

Good with major caveats

I like almost all features of PayPal. However, not allowing you to convert your own received money through your bank provider is a big downer. Also, the delays in the online deposits to appear in your account is unreasonable and confusing. I often loose track of activity on the app, especially for PayPal credit. PayPal is excellent, puts me in control of my spend...

PayPal+ is excellent, puts me in control of my spending in all places. I like earning points across any of my bank accounts. I found paypal credit slightly awkward to use as auto payments can be setup that don’t match the expected payment dates by default and I was charged interest. I stopped using this facility as this was just awkward. Reviewed on: 18th April 2026
