Top class insurance

My 4 year old cat was the exremelly unwell in November 2022. She had multiple fractures and had to have a fermerol neck ostectomy. Amidst this she developed Ileus and had to abdominal surgery with 20 cm of her intestine removed. It was also discovered that she had early stage Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy heart disease. She was touch and go at some points and she was in and out of various vets including the Royal Vetinary Hospital for small animals. She incurred a huge bill and although it went over the top cover that I have with Petplan, they paid for treatment up to the limit I was covered for. They paid the RVC directly for her treatment and reimbursed me for local vet cover. The whole process was smooth in very distressing circumstances. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Excellent pet insurance provider

The staff at petplan are unbeatable, always helpful, polite and have always got time to explain anything you might need to know about your insurance policy. Great Pet Insurance

When you need them they will be there!

When our previous dog was diagnosed with lymphoma at 6 years old petplan insurance covered the claim. Without the cover and petplan insurance we may have not been able to have done the treatment. Having petplan meant we got nearly 2 years with our gorgeous boy. No issues claiming paid direct to vet. They were there when we needed them. Reviewed on: 15th July 2023
