Happy with my petplan insurance

My whippet cut her side, I took her to my vets who stitched her up, I payed the excess and that was it. My vets and petplan sorted out the claim between them. Reviewed on: 24th November 2015

Amazing

I was looking for a pet cover for my cat as our previous lifetime policy had almost tripled over 4 years. He has a pre-existing condition that has been symptom free since 2011 and I rate the fact that Lifetime Petcare will cover pets if they have been symptom free for 24 months. We have better cover and are saving 1/3 of the price over our previous insurer, so we are delighted about that. Speedy, personal service was also great! Reviewed on: 13th November 2015

cheap peace of mind for my loved animals

I have never considered insuring my pets until I saw the pet plan advert on the TV, after I saw this advert I did some research into the company and compared it to other companies for pet insurance, I love my bets and would hate for anything bad to happen to them and to not be able to afford for their treatment, Petplan offer great value for money and it gives fellow pet owners just like myself peace of mind that if anything terrible was to happen your fury friends are insured. All pet owners should definitely without a doubt look into getting their pets insured with pet plan!!! Reviewed on: 12th November 2015

i had 1 month free insurance for my new puppy and i will definatly carry on with pet plan when it runs out.

I had free pet plan insurance when i registered my 2 puppies with my local vet, most pet insurance would not offer the first month free, but not only does pet plan offer this, they also gave me the second month free if i was to carry on with the cover. will defiantly use and will also highly recommend. Rather confusing signup but seems best price/product on the market, amongst some very dodgy ones

After a 1-month free trial via my pet's breeder, was fairly inundated with emails and texts to extend to a full year. Petplan were offering "1 month free" *OR* 10% off. However what's not really clear is that you can't extend your initial free trial online - if you do, it counts as two separate insurance periods and your pet isn't insured for the first 4 weeks of the full period. (Yep, you're paying for n months but the first 1 month you can't claim - to my mind, if you can't claim, that counts as "not insured". All the pet insurers do this.). Once on the phone to Petplan, they couldn't tell me what "1 month free" actually meant - was I getting 13 months for the price of 12, or 12 months for the price of 11? Without that I couldn't work out which deal I wanted - the 1 free month or the 10% off. Very confused/confusing customer service woman with poor English and rude approach. Eventually got through to someone else and simply asked for the best deal they could give me. That turned out to be 12 months for the price of 10 (yes, *TWO* months free) as a continuation of my initial insurance period, so full cover starting immediately (claimable). Moral - you need to be prepared to take half-an-hour to go through via the phone, but it's well worth haggling for a better deal. Reviewed on: 11th November 2015

my pets are well cares for.

The insurance for my pets makes me sleep more at night i dont have to worry about expensive bills out of nowhere and pay such a small amount every month for it. Safety in mind from this company. Love them!!³ Reviewed on: 10th November 2015

Longtime customer
