Thankfully only had to make one claim. My cat injured his leg as soon as he finished treatment the vet sent the relevant paper work and pay out was in full and fast. Reviewed on: 1st August 2017

Fantastic insurance by people who care

Their covered for life policies mean I never have to worry about my cat being ill over a prolonged period and she is covered for life. They do their best to pay all claims and are people who love animals as much as their customers! Reviewed on: 17th July 2017

Reliable and trustworthy

I have used Petplan equine insurance for many years. I have found their customer services assistants to be efficient, polite and helpful. The are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Petplan offer a comprehensive range of equine insurance products. I am able to continue insuring my aging pony at a competitive price. I may pay a slightly higher premium than horse owners using less specialized companies. However, this is balanced by the peace of mind I get from using a trusted and well established company. When my dear pedigree cat passed away unexpectedly, petplan were very friendly and understanding when I spoke to them. I had a few problems with getting his pedigree certificate to them but they were great and didn't put me under any additional stress. Would highly recommend them x Reviewed on: 15th July 2017

Cheaper to insure my car....

I have not made any claims on my pet insurance and my Pug, Alfie, is of great health but because I missed the renewal date, my insurance quote for the following year was increased and I was quoted £342!!! (an additional £90 because I. Missed the renewal date) Reviewed on: 8th October 2016
