The difference between life and death

Our lovely 4 year old dog was diagnosed with Addison's disease just over a year ago. He is going to need medication for the rest of his life but Petplan helped in two ways. Financially we didn't have to make the difficult decision to to test/treat him when he was very ill before diagnosis we knew Petplan would be there from experience with another pet. Secondly they didn't make claiming for his illness at all stressful, it was a short form to fill in and pass to the vet and that was it! Thanks to Petplan for making sure an awful time easier! Excellant

Thankfully only had to make one claim. My cat injured his leg as soon as he finished treatment the vet sent the relevant paper work and pay out was in full and fast. Reviewed on: 1st August 2017

Fantastic insurance by people who care

Their covered for life policies mean I never have to worry about my cat being ill over a prolonged period and she is covered for life. They do their best to pay all claims and are people who love animals as much as their customers! Reviewed on: 17th July 2017

Never had a problem

I ve had 3 dogs insured with petplan.i ve made claims for all 3 of them with no problems. I got cheques minus my excess within 4 weeks. Reviewed on: 16th July 2017

Reliable and trustworthy

I have used Petplan equine insurance for many years. I have found their customer services assistants to be efficient, polite and helpful. The are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Petplan offer a comprehensive range of equine insurance products. I am able to continue insuring my aging pony at a competitive price. I may pay a slightly higher premium than horse owners using less specialized companies. However, this is balanced by the peace of mind I get from using a trusted and well established company. Great company while dealing with my loss

When my dear pedigree cat passed away unexpectedly, petplan were very friendly and understanding when I spoke to them. Pet Plan Rider Insurance

Cheaper to insure my car....

I have not made any claims on my pet insurance and my Pug, Alfie, is of great health but because I missed the renewal date, my insurance quote for the following year was increased and I was quoted £342!!! (an additional £90 because I. Missed the renewal date) Reviewed on: 8th October 2016
