Petplan are the very best!!

We have been with Petplan Insurance now for 23 years & we would only ever choose them to provide vital cover for our beloved dogs! Payment is swift, they are very reasonable with every claim & they seem to understand that when your pet is ill & you need their help, its with care & empathy ~ Petplan are simply the best!! Always there when you need them!

All my pets are registered with petplan. I have 3 dogs, 5 cats and 2 rabbits. Whenever any of my pets needs veterinary care I don't worry about the cost as I have never had any issues with making a claim. One of my cats started coughing last year and they paid straight away for her to go to referral for ct scans. Same again for one of my dogs who is currently battling a thymoma. They pay quickly and without question. Any new pets I get go straight onto petplan insurance. Reviewed on: 15th July 2023

My 11yr old cocker spaniel, Charlie, has had to have numerous vet visits, 2 incidents were very concerning but knowing that he is insured with Pet Plan means he received the full treatment, giving him the quality of life he deserves. Reviewed on: 15th July 2023

Hassle free and compassionate

I have been a Petplan customer since 2002 - firstly with my horse, then our Greyhound and now with our Whippet. I'm a veterinary nurse and there's a saying in our industry that if you're a veterinary professional that your pet has everything wrong with them! Well, sadly for us this has been true of all our pets. But, despite the stress and upset involved in caring for our pets, the back and forth between my first opinion practice and our two, yes two, referral practices, we have never had to worry about covering the costs, or about huge delays in those costs being paid, either to us or directly to the practices. Petplan have always been compassionate when you've shed tears down the phone, calm when you're panicking, and helpful and efficient, no matter the situation, or the complexity of our queries. In my line of work I have seen the devastation of not having insurance, and I always vowed I would never put us in that position, that we would be able to concentrate on caring for our boys, be able to say yes to the best treatment available to them without the added worry of how that level of care would be paid for.
