I've been with Petplan for over 10 years, since I first bought my horse and took over the policy from the breeder. Horses are complicated creatures, and mine has perhaps had more problems than some, but Petplan's support has eased the worry when there have been issues to deal with, and helped me keep my horse happy, healthy and competing well into his teens. Brilliant company

Petplan are a brilliant service, also once you have paid the excess the whole claim can be done through your vet without you having to lay full payment out and waiting for your claim to be paid out. Brilliant service. Used Tesco’s before for previous pets and wouldn’t use any other company now other than Petplan. Highly recommend this company. Reviewed on: 20th August 2019

Easy and good value for money!

Pet plan was straight forward and the phone team made everything very simple for me. Very happy with my quote and took out a policy without hesitation. The man I spoke to on the phone was friendly, provided me with all the information I needed and didn't pressure me into making a decision! Reviewed on: 19th August 2019

Not the cheapest but certainly the best.

Had my dogs insured by Petplan. Always swift in paying claims, never had any quibbles. I lost a dog earlier this year and when I phoned to let them know I expected to just get ok we will stop the policy, instead the lady I spoke to couldn’t have been better, she was sympathetic, sorted stopping my policy on him, had the time to talk when it was at the time just what I needed. To top that I even received a sympathy card. With what I have heard from other people who are with other insurers they have not received such good treatment. I still have my other dog insured with them and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. My next dog will be insured with them when I get another dog. They are, Simply the best. Premiums don’t go up dramatically at renewal. Paid out promptly, direct to Langford Vet Hospital, no problems or queries. But I did read the small print, which many don’t ! Reviewed on: 18th August 2019
