Avoid

Very poor credit management team and make silly excuses not to lend. They take you on a wild goose chase and take arrangement fees and valuation fees and then make silly excuses why the application gets declined. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2020

Complete rip off.

I've had a 2nd mortgage with Precise Mortgages for 12 years, I've never defaulted, always paid on time yet with increased I treat rates recently the took it upon themselves to increase by 8%, rather than by the 4% the actual rates went up by. Result is I am paying 12%!!! I think they want to either make a massive profit on this or repossess. Thanks fully I had the funds to pay it off and stick 2 fingers to them but AVOID! Never had a problem with them

I took out a mortgage in June 2015. Whenever I have called Precise they have been courteous. However, they didn’t offer me a new product at the end of my two year period. So, I started overpaying my mortgage every month. I needed to go back to my broker for a new deal with precise, but he had moved away and some other brokers were wanting me to increase the length of my mortgage, which I wasn’t willing to do. don't trust this company

I have many Precise B2L mortgages ,so was happy to apply for another .I paid all my fee's up front on the initial acceptance by the broker. Property was valued and a reduced offer was indicated ,I challenged the valuation and was suddenly turned down with no explanation . I have trawled the internet for credit agencies and have no defaults or bad credit score .This is a very bad way to rob people of money ,so therefore PRECISE are not to be trusted . Useless company

Do not recommend taking house mortgage from this company because I’ve been waiting weeks for a decision and everytime I was asked to provide more evidence of my salary and employment of contract. I have been a agency worker for over 3 years and my application got rejected…they charge 500£ for an application but when it gets rejected you lose all this money. This is complete rip off !! Utterly Useless

Superb slow/ customer support is a complete mess

Used to be a good lender, but is a complete mess in nowadays.. We buying properties heavily as a business so like 3-5 diff applications at the same time.. Precise outsourced their offices abroad I believe so as customer support no longer able to understand nor speak properly :) Whole process is superb slow.. I mean - even my broker told me- we should turn away from Precise.. None of our complains so far was resolved.. There is much better and safer lenders in nowadays, stay away from Precise! Very Poor Client Management

Total shambles

As an experienced portfolio landlord I'm used to dealing with lenders. However,Precise are without doubt the most shambolic. Each dept works in silos,nobody communicates with each. No idea of customer needs or service. Avoid at all cost. Reviewed on: 30th April 2020

DEVASTATED!

DEVASTATED! We exchanged contracts today on a property, our future home which we told Precise we would not occupy until we no longer had a buy to let mortgage on it (property to be let until we sell our current home and business and therefore pay off the BLT mortgage).Nothing in their terms and conditions to say that this might be a problem, only occupancy during the terms of their mortgage which we understand. Because we have intent to occupy in the future (after the mortgage is paid off) they have withdrawn the mortgage offer AFTER exchange and BEFORE completion which was due tomorrow! Excellent Customer Service

I applied through a broker and was advised the checks are more thorough and would take longer than a straight forward high street application. My credit history was very poor with recent CCJs so I wasn’t expecting a great result. However, I got an offer in 3 weeks and spoke to precise directly a couple of times during the process and they were very pleasant and helpful. Can’t fault them! Would definitely recommend for anyone with a more difficult to place application. Reviewed on: 5th November 2019
