Terrible

our financial advisor recommended Royal London along with a couple of others to choose from. Wish we had never gone with Royal London. The charges taken by Royal London and our advisor are seriously wrecking an already poorly performing pension. We are changing both advisor and pension provider. Incidentally we have been told by a number of financial advisors we should never have gone with Royal London. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2020

They are making a pension transfer process very difficult

Decided to transfer my pension to another provider, but they are making it extremely difficult. At one point they sent me a letter with a form and no return address. Reviewed on: 31st July 2022

waiting on my pay out for 25% of my pension

several phone calls and emails and not getting answers. phone drops out when you call. I was told when I finally got a call that they are waiting on my works response to a Question. Employer had sent the email back and has details in my file. I informed Royal London and I still have no reply. As usual the phone drops out when you ring. My neighbour has informed me that he has been waiting since April and is getting the same delaying tactics. He also got sent documents that belonged to another Royal London client with all their personal details. Give me my money please Reviewed on: 22nd July 2022

4 months and still waiting to draw on a straight forward pension.

So i desided to draw on a pension, 5 weeks waiting for an appointment with them, paperwork should have arrived in 3 weeks it took 6 with loads of phone calls in between. Sent it back payout should have been 4-6 weeks, now week 9. You can not get though to them waited 3 times for an hour on the phone, for it just to cut of automatically. However once you do the staff are very friendly and try to help. But 4 months on nothing. Reviewed on: 10th July 2022

Customer Service is non existent

Customer service is completely non existent. They ignore correspondence unless chased and then it takes weeks to provide further responses. When raised as an issue you just get a stroppy response. AVOID Reviewed on: 5th July 2022

Pension losing hundreds daily

I transferred my pension pot from ReAssure to Royal London and it's losing £hundreds every single day. I really don't know what to do Reviewed on: 25th June 2022

Terrible service

We have decided to cash out some of our pension .. we were told it was coming last week… checked our account only to find £1000 payed in when we was expecting a large lump sum .. contacted Royal London they have now delayed us again !!! So not sure when the remainder is getting paid in .. constantly ringing to chase up .. left on hold for ages!!! We urgently need our funds .. they have put us in a real predicament!!! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM ..they are aware of the shocking reviews yet still continue to make us all wait .. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU WANT TO INVEST !!! Reviewed on: 28th May 2022

Worst Company ever do not go near them !

They bought over CIS who i was with , my Pension was meant to be paid on 17th jan 2022, now May 19th and still not got it, after numerous Phone calls same excuses and lies . my advice is do not go near this company Reviewed on: 19th May 2022

Transferred pension

Since transferring a pension into my Royal London pension, it has gone from making money consistantly to losing money everyday. This has gone.from 9.1% increase for the life of the policy and now down to 4%. I now feel I've made a very big mistake losing £100's of daily. What are they doing with it.
