This review is based on two experiences in November my wife drew a cheque out to pay for a holiday we are convinced that this wasn't issued as she is so methodical, we went in to explain this but the way we made to feel subsequently we were on the verge of closing the account! but last week she went in and the cashier couldn't have been nicer pleasant and friendly the normal service we have with the society Reviewed on: 12th March 2024

System failure

I did have to request where my monies which should have been paid into my bank a count when my rgular save reached its term end. Most unusual having used this method of saving for many years with you in the past It was 3 days late and I was surprised that the error was on your part, the tranfer not having taken place, resulting in my new reg. saver account not opened either. Updates by phone

Wrong information!

Was not given full information despite having a third party signature in place for years. When my husband queried this, was promised a call back. This did not happen. I phoned up. Again promised a call back. Again this did nit happen. Had to phone again next day to finally get a sort if answer to thecquery Reviewed on: 11th March 2024

Good Service but poor rates for savers

The Saffron needs to keep its interest rates higher so it stands out from the rest. Why on earth have your rates gone down when the Bank of England rates have remained unchanged. Indeed they could go up given the economic situation Reducing rates was pre mature and I had intended to deposit some money with the Saffron at the end of the month but now have to look else where. I hope savers will not be exploited again as they were for the last 14 yrs, Keep your savings rates higher in order to keep customers not loose them Reviewed on: 11th March 2024
