Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Stressless car insurance

Was attracted by the idea of being able to fix my car insurance cost for 3 years and therefore not having the stress of looking for new quote every renewal. Cost was competitive and information via email with their newsletters has been great. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Helpful staff and fair priced insurance

I wanted to insure my car for my son and daughter in law as they were returning to live in the Uk after living abroad for 17 years. I telephoned Saga and was quickly able to put them onto my insurance and the price was a lot cheaper than when I had done this several years ago with another company.
