Fabulous service when faced with a 3 hour flight delay

On arrival at the airport, two hours before our flight, we were told there would be a three hour flight delay. We were notified almost immediately that VIP lounge access had been arranged. We spent the five hours in comfortable surroundings with food and drink available. The SAGA travel insurance exceeded our expectations. Reviewed on: 31st August 2026

Value for money travel insurance

Value for money travel insurance for older persons. Easy to buy insurance on line. Customer service personnel very professional, helpful and knowledgeable when circumstances change. When making a claim due to unforeseen circumstance, they show great empathy and understanding of the situation and extremely good at communicating the current status of the claim. Booking my first travel insurance with SAGA

It was very easy to get the insurance I needed and very easy to make a change at a later date. The price was good and I had no problem making my decision. The online booking was straightforward. When I called to make and amendment, the phone was answered quickly. My request was dealt with quickly. The person who answered was very polite, friendly and informed.
