Helpful and easy to talk to

I haven’t had to make a claim but have been delighted by the ease of getting through and being able to talk to a person on the phone when I needed to amend my policy. They were so helpful and easy to talk to. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2025

I had a very unexpected crisis - and SAGA was perfect.

I had a very unexpected crisis - evacuation from a wildfire which caused a medical problem (strained foot) and Saga took care of everything perfectly - the medical costs, the flight changes, the hotel. It was surprising how good they were with me. Reviewed on: 21st August 2025

A very reasonable price when comparing.

A very reasonable price when comparing. With other insurers. Sorted it out my self on line then rang up to check everything was correct as it’s very important to be sure I’d be covered ok. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025

Good for over-60 travel insurance

I like that for travel insurance their questionnaire of ailments is easy to fill in, doesn't ask silly questions, and doesn't make un-necessary restrictions. They're a lot better than Co-op insurance and tons better than Easyjet. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025

Leg injury in USA

In December 2024 I was in the USA. On Christmas Day I slipped on snow, fell, and ruptured the quadriceps tendon in one leg. I was seen in Dartmouth Hospital (Saga covered all the fees) - I was due to fly back to the UK two days later, and because I had to keep the injured leg straight, I needed an upgrade to my flight. Saga arranged all that perfectly, as well as arranging assistance and a car to collect me at the UK airport. All done very smoothly. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025
