Refunded Doctor fee and prescription charge

My husband needed to see a doctor in Portugal. We showed his GHIC card to the doctor's receptionist but were charged €62 anyway. Saga refunded the doctor's fee and the cost of prescription within minutes. Reviewed on: 28th August 2026

Good cover, good service, reasonable price.

Saga offers cover for a wide range of activities and covers medical conditions with sensitivity. It was easy to get a quote a line and to discuss the cover on the telephone. The staff are helpful, competent and friendly. The price was reasonable given the medical conditions I needed to be included in my cover. Reviewed on: 27th August 2026
