Good money maker

I switched to Santander bank after having a bad experience with Lloyds a year ago. The nice lady in Santander introduced me to 123 current account and worked out for me ,taking into account my salary, savings, spending, whether this account is suitable for me. She want pushy or manipulative and left the decision to me. When I switched the bank moved all my bills and standing orders to my new accound and the money that had been sitting in my saving account making almost no profit. Over the last year I made around 200 pounds by having the money in my 123 Current account instead of keeping it in my old Saving account. Even with the fee increase from 2 to 5 pounds its still worth staying with them if you have over 10000 pounds in savings. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great account

This is a great current account- much better than most of the savings accounts currently on the market. If you are able to put £20K in and receive the 3% interest, plus cashback for certain direct debits, even with the monthly charge it is a good earner. The money is available if you need it and is transferred immediately - no hanging around for a notice period. Have been delighted with it & would happily recommend it. Good rewards and hassle free

Excellent account with good service

The 123 Santander account is simple to use and outlines monthly interest accrued clearly. The monthly fee will be rising to £5 a month, and so it will only be viable for you if you have >£8-10k. Interest rate is still market-leading. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

helpful great account

123 overall experience

This account and credit card combo is Very Good for a driver as i rack up cashback on petrol and it has a Good interest rate if you hold large sums in your current Account. The Fees are rising But that was to be expected. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Not as good as it used to be

Great Cashback!

I upgraded to the 123 account 8 months ago when I got a santander mortgage, I get £60 a month cashback, and the phone app is great for transfers etc. Great account and even though the monthly fee is going up from £2 to £5 it still works out great for me. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Reliable banking service no messing about

I've been banking with Santander for over three years now and have to say I'm completely happy with the service I've received. In this time there have been no hiccups or anything I've had to bring to their attention as not quite right. Banking is simple, straightforward and they don't even charge to send paper statements which is refreshing. I may shop around for a better deal in future but for the time being I am happy to stay loyal to Santander and continue to receive good service. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
