Shawbrook are wonderful

I’ve used Shawbrook several times, they are wonderful but sometimes their savings rates are not the best. The service is great and the staff are lovely and informative. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

Disrespect for personal information

My main experience of this bank is that if you have a personal account and a business savings account with them, they lump the two together if your personal name and/or address matches, even though they are distinctly different entities with different names. When pointed it out, first they take ages to respond, and then they argue that they are doing you a favour by allowing you to view all your accounts together in one log-on. Obviously this is not right because if occasionally you had to let your accountant have a view of your business account, you do not want them to be able to see tour personal savings as well.
