You don't get what you pay for

I know they are cheap but really! I've not had an accident in about 25 years and have been paying Sheila's Wheels for a number of those years. I had an accident which I phoned in on Thursday morning. Its now Monday evening and my car still hasn't been picked up to be assessed. No courtesy car until two days after its been assessed (whenever that will be). Very stressful. Overpriced

Was with Sheilas Wheels .. didn't realise I was paying stupidly high amount for insurance..now switched to Admiral and saved £500 a year! So far so good with Admiral :) Reviewed on: 27th February 2017

Great until I moved address

With Sheila's Wheels for coming up to 4 years and recently moved house to a nicer area. My husbands insurance went down considerably but when I called Sheila's wheels to amend my address they said my monthly premium would go up by £19!! When I questioned this saying I had only a month left until my annual renewal the suddenly changed their mind saying that I will actually be due £6 refund... Think I'll be going elsewhere when K policy is up next month Reviewed on: 29th August 2016

rip you off

this is the first time i had insurance with this company and had a very bad experience. they email me that they want to cancel my insurance after 14 days and they give another 10 days to keep insurance just they can charge me £42 for cancelling the insurance and having 10 days more.they cancelled my policy after 14 days giving the reason of fraud which is a nonsense and ridiculous excuses to make the money out of it.they said i search with different address and took the cheapest insurance which was just £2.50 difference which i never did. i said them if they want i can send them proof that the insurance i have is in my home address they refuse to do so saying that i am fraud.also they want to cancel after 14 days so they can rip me off saying that i use insurance for 14 days. Their system doesn't even know how many times a person search for insurance until 14 days pass away and they can have money for nothing.they just want to rip u off. Reviewed on: 12th August 2016

Always low price, good service

When choosing insurance for the car, it should be cheap, explained well and the company should be able to deal with any queries. They did this perfectly: adding an extra named driver, changing address and always getting a good deal. One downside is that they didn't remind me to renew so I almost drove my car without insurance!
