The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Changed banks in my 80s . . . and delighted!

I moved to Starling because I was not happy with the customer experience at Barclays after many years with them. It has been one of the best decisions regarding banking that I have ever made. Amazing online bank!

Easy to set up, manage and track transactions. Currency exchange is also very fair and they pay a much higher rate of interest on savings than my previous (high street) bank Reviewed on: 12th April 2024
