I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Literally changed our lives

Myself and My Husband lost our Business and we were really struggling paying our personal finances. Step Change helped us every step of the way literally! Relief

Having got myself into debt and suffering sleeplessness night's and endless stress..I decided to get help.. Step change gave me breathing space and set up a debt repayment plan.. Have now got my life back and can see a way forward. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023

Between life and death

This is the second time step change has helped me.The first time I came out of a violent relationship and they helped me manage all my debts until I could get back on my feet.This time they have took all the stress out of everything.With the cost of living going up at a rapid rate and covid I found myself spiraling into debt.My wages were only covering my gas and electric.Not only are they not bias but they listened and told me the best option for me.If it was not for them I properly would of took my own life.The best thing at of all of it its Free.They go above and beyond. Amazing company

I was struggling with my debts i got some help from step change they were amazing set up a payment plan for every month that was affordable for me they never judge you they have put my mind as rest amazing company would highly recommend them that's for sure. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023

Phenomenal

I was stressing over my financial situation especially in the age we are in and I never thought I would be in this situation by alas I am and I got recommended StepChange by Very (One of the companies I am in debt with) and since going onto a plan with StepChange my life is so much easier they just take the money and distributes it over multiple companies I am in debt with they are also incredibly friendly incredibly understanding of anyone's situations and they keep in contact with you overall its One of the best decisions I have ever made and I hope they win Reviewed on: 7th July 2023

Help when I needed it most

I had found myself struggling with my finances for the first time in my life and having constant calls and messages from creditors and worrying how I was going to cope and what to do. Spoke to step change and they where brilliant , not judgemental and helped me to fill in a income expenditure form and arranged manageable monthly payments to my creditors for me to help me in my unfortunate circumstances.
