I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Saved My Mental Health

My mental illness caused me a lot of problems with my finances. Step Change were brilliant at breaking the points down and explaining how and what could be done to become financially secure and stable again. They have been there during the difficult times and always offered advice when needed. Plus I have not had a single bad experience with the people and staff I speak to. They are always patient. Made life liveable again

Help when I needed it

I was drowning in debt and after a bogus phone call from someone who said they could help me I contacted Stepchange. I am so glad I did because their help and advice has really helped. The person who handled my call 2 years ago was non-judgemental, listened to my story and pointed me to the right help.
