Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Taken so much pressure off us

Joined step change after being with the FWG debt management plan who were charging £6000 in fees to manage our debts for us where as step change have been even more helpful and don’t charge a penny with the cost of living the way it is has made our financial worries a lot less stressful there friendly staff always on hand to help should you have a problem with your plan and also the availability of the online access is fantastic. There is a point when I’m Debt, you know the only way for change, is help. Amazing how easy it is!
