Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

StepChange taking your debt worries away

I have dealt with StepChange for a number of years and I have found them to be so caring about your plight, and they take all the stress and worries away. The way they deal with your debt makes you feel that you have someone there for you and you can give them a call if you start to have problems fulfilling your agreement and they will deal with the companies to come to a reduced arrangement within reason, but you are never left struggling and you can carry on your life with one less worry with StepChange involved. From the very first interaction Stepchange have been incredible. There is loads of advice available and they put my mind at ease immediately. Think NIKE - Dont Dither, Just Do It!
