Debt free for the first time in nearly 20yrs!

I was left with a lot of debt following the break up of a previous relationship. For many a year I struggled to make my regular payments until I had to concede I needed help. A quick google check pointed me towards Stepchange. They quickly helped reduce the stress I was feeling in trying to manage my poor financial situation by being supportive and available with advice. They also gave me solutions to overcome my situation. I have been using Stepchange continually now for more than 5yrs. Initially, I was predicted to clear my debt in 2063, when I would be 90yrs old! But overtime, through the advice and support I was given, I learnt to manage my finances better and increase my monthly payments to the point that I will be completely debt free by the summer of 2025. Super Company

The hardest part was having the courage to accept I needed help with debts. After researching Debt Management companies, I decided to give Stepchange a call & was glad I did. From day 1 till the present day, Stepchange have been brilliant, especially through the 'Covid' days. They made the whole process easy & life a little more bearable knowing Customer service, for me, has been top notch - queries have always been answered, changes to the plan has always been accepted with no issues & the Customer Services advisors have always been very helpful. Step changes has given me the help I needed

They saved me!

They basically saved me from a situation that was causing a lot of stress and gave me a new lease of life. Circumstances bring un-manageable debt to many people through no fault of their own which can a have a serious impact upon mental health, sometimes leading to suicide. Step Change are an incredible healing light unto millions of individuals and families, in the face of greedy corporations focused only on creating dependency in consumers and capitalising on desperate situations for the purpose of transferring any future wealth, into the pockets of those who already have more than enough.
