I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

I have found stepchange absolutely brilliant as being in debt can come with humiliation and embarrassment for getting in such a predicament. Excellent team of angels

I was in a desperate situation and alone. I made a call and was. Very distressed. The person i spoke to was calm and gentle and treated me with care and compassion. Chatted with me once i was comfortable started to help me see things in perspective. I came off that call feeling hope. They have gone through everything with me. Pick up the confidence and call..

It was so easy to sort once I picked up the confidence to call. You but my mind at easy and broken everything down to easy payments. It did take 23 years to pay back all my debts but I did it. With a budget plan I could afford. It was easy to change if my circumstances changed. Loved the online account. So I could see my dept decreasing every month. Also I could do my yearly review on there as well. But I knew if I was stuck with anything I call in person as well. Fantastic support would tell anyone to call for advice and help with step change 100% of the time. They will never judge you and make you feel there is no way out of dept eventually.
