It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Stepchange was recommended to me by a family member. My Debt was very overwhelming, and my wages just weren’t stretching far enough. I was a little worried about taking this step,i believed I got myself into the debt and I had to get myself out of it. i felt I was cheating by going down this route, but Im so glad I applied to stepchange. A weigh has been lifted, it was easy and quick to set up, I’m making affordable payments after completing a budget and it’s reviewed every year. Such a relief

I contacted Stepchange after really struggling with debts due to a relationship breakdown. It was such a relief to speak to someone and admit I was struggling. They were so kind, didn't judge and helped me work out what I could afford to pay each month. I make one payment a month to Stepchange and they split it between my debts.
