I was £26,000 in debt and will soon be debt free!

Stepchange gave advice and guidance on how to deal with my debts. I contacted all my debtors and completed a questionnaire on my income and outgoing expenses and committed to an affordable monthly amount to pay all my debts off. The interest on my debt was then halted and I have been paying back £26,000 at an affordable rate for 12 years! Contacted stepchange a few years ago because I was totally in a mess with my finances couldn’t keep up with repayments was using different credit cards to pay each other wasn’t sleeping and was getting more withdrawn as time went on. income reduced

We unfortunately had our income reduced which meant we were struggling with our debts. we got in touch with step change and over a course of a few hours everything was set up and running. they literally did all the work for us so we didn’t need to get in touch with any companies. They sorted all the plan out. no one got in touch with us. They only thing we had to do was keep paying stepchange, they distributed the monies out. Once a year we do a review. That’s all. they are so good, they take everything you could possibly need into consideration during your budget, make sure you have enough money for everything you require then what’s left over is paid out.
