It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Got my life back

Stepchange have relived all pressure from my debtors and care worked out a budget that pays everything and gives me and my family space to enjoy life again. The help I needed

I was provided with the help and support needed in all the right ways. They were forgiving, non judgemental,understanding and practical about my situation. A weight lifted

After finding our debt had built up we turned to Step Change for advice. We now have a debt management plan through the charity and it feels like a big weight has been lifted now a plan is in place. What A Relief!

Amazing from start to finish. I was so worried waited aged to call but I wish I had done it much much sooner. They sorted Everything and were so helpful and friendly. I felt ashamed of my debt and they really helped.me to feel better and now I am on my way to repaying my debts and I live without the stress and dread that I did before. Totally changed my.life. Step Change have been an amazing and practical support

I was totally stressed out and at a loss with what to do about my debt. I didn’t think I qualified for help but I was so wrong and wish I’d made the call sooner. The first level of support when I called Step Change was emotional support, they were so caring and took the weight off my shoulders and then continued to support me with the practical steps to resolving my debt overwhelm. Within weeks I had a plan set up, they’ve taken care of everything and I am left feeling in control of my finances, I’m saving a little each month and living within my means. I know exactly when I’ll be debt free and I no longer feel anxious or guilty about my financial situation. An amazing supportive and practical service, they deserve a big THANK YOU. Excellent Service

I don’t know where I would have been without Step Change. After my husband started having blackouts and was unable to work, we found ourselves not able to pay our debt. One in a million!

A charity that’s a life saver! I couldn’t have wished for a more helpful service with the most understanding and supportive staff. They talked me through every aspect of my debt management, showing me there was a way out and I wasn’t alone. There was no judgement at all, just understanding and positivity that they could help me through one of the most difficult times in my life. I felt so disheartened and sad as though my world had ended before I rang them, now I feel in control and can see a way out. It will take me a long time to be debt free but at least I’m one step closer now and managing my money effectively, knowing help and encouragement is at the end of a phone if I need it.
