Review of the StepChange, Debt Management:

A well-informed and supportive helping hand

I was very confused and anxious about what I should do. The options explained by StepChange were clear and very helpful. StepChange negotiated monthly payments with my creditors and this was a huge help. I now pay an agreed monthly amount which StepChange divides among the creditors. However, I am still struggling, as the cost of essentials, energy and council tax has risen, and this has wiped out the increase in my state pension. I am hoping StepChange can shortly help me to come to a new arrangement with my creditors and I am gratefyl for the calm support and advice the advisors offer. Reviewed on: 6th June 2025

Step Change helped me to look at all my outgoings and to work out by how much I could reduce my debts each month. With their regular statements I can keep track of how my debts are going down.
