Review of the Suffolk Building Society, formerly Ipswich Building Society, Savings:

Fantastic staff

The staff in the Woodbridge branch are all absolutely lovely. As a deaf person, I always feel nervous going into town by myself, because I am anxious that I will not hear people. Myself and my hearing dog, Pippin, had some errands to run, and had to deposit some money into my savings account, and every time we go in, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. They all greet me, ask what I am visiting for, and obviously come and say hello to Pippin (who loves the attention!). Pippin is a trained hearing dog, and was matched with me in April last year, but I constantly have to train him. We love to come into the building society in Woodbridge and practice our ‘sit’ and ‘wait’. The staff are always patient and happy for us to do this. Although, he has got into the habit of jumping up to look over the desk! (Sorry!) We will work on that when we next come in. Thank you for making me feel comfortable, especially during the pandemic mask period (impossible to lipread!). Thankfully the staff are more than happy to lower their masks, if they are wearing one.
