I have found the service the Hadleigh Branch to be wonderfully friendly and helpful in selecting an appropriate savings vehicle; having been given a private appointment to discuss my individual needs with the manager; she was totally focussed, and explained the advantages of possible choices simply but coherently. Still personal service and the best products

I have maintained a savings account with SBS for 75 years and am always concerned that the personal service over time may be lost. However, I have recently opened a new ISA and my telephone contact with the Havens reflected how I recall it has always been; so I should not have worried. Despite my being an existing customer, Michelle needed some I/D to complete her records which I emailed to her. I received an acknowlegement for that straightaway and was then posted very promptly all the documentation together with a handwritten note from Michelle thanking me for my investment. I did not choose SBS for old times' sake but because it was on the best terms I could find. So, a win-win for me. It is a shame that more financial institutions cannot achieve the same respect for their customers. Reviewed on: 5th February 2024
