Great service from Tembo.

We received a great service from Tembo. Luke and Elly did a great job to find some great deals for us. They managed to get 2 mortgages at the same time (BTL and residential). When we had an issue with the rental valuation they managed to change the lender and arranged a different valuation company and all went through ok at the end. Luke and Elly always kept us informed at every stage and they were always contactable by email or phone. Recommend them for all your mortgage needs. Reviewed on: 8th April 2025

Highly Recommended

As a Tembo ISA holder, decided to ask them about mortgages as advice was free. Initially decided the equity release would be the way to go, as we are both retired, so Matt referred us to Saga. However, after discussing options with them, we decided that interest free would be best, so back to Matt. He could not have been more helpful and his response times to emails was phenomenal. He found us a great deal and Elly took over when Matt went on paternity leave at Christmas. Elly was equally as good at answering our queries and keeping us informed with the application process and we now have a mortgage offer that suits our needs. Dedicated, smart advisor - fast and great service

I had a great experience with Tembo. Despite a complex situation (non-British national, just moved on a visa, less than 3 months in the country) my advisor Ashley Ellis was able to find a few products. That transaction fell through, but Ashley kept discretely in touch and almost a year later he was able to support me in finding a product for a leasehold with only 63 years left (when other advisor simply told me not to bother even trying). I have now received my offer and looking forward getting my first property! Great work from Ashley in listening to all my different ideas, peculiar situation, and advising with the best strategy. Hopefully this is just the first of many. A mention also to Christianna Amos who supported with the admin steps after the advice. Less than a week from application to offer is impressive. Thankful First Time Buyers!

As first time buyers me and my partner had no idea where to start with buying a house. Luckily through my partners work we were linked with Tembo Money to get some advice. From our first enquiry we had an appointment within a week and a follow up within days. Brad was incredibly helpful; he was knowledgeable and able to explain clearly what we needed to do and how to do it. He was quick and super efficient as well as having great communication. Brad was also lovely and friendly and put us at ease. As we progressed we moved over to Emma to help with our application. Emma was wonderful, she introduced herself straight away and updated us at each step of the process. Emma had our application done quickly and we received a mortgage offer in days. Tembo are definitely the best

From initial contact with Tembo it has been virtually stress free and I've never experienced that before Kane Garret was so helpful and he clearly knows his stuff he listened and I felt heard and straight away my initial concerns about the process evaporated.Kane informed me that j would be looked after by Callum Doherty during the next phase and Callum equally as brilliant informative professional I just knew I had chosen the right company and I certainly will not hesitate to recommend Tembo to all my family and friends and anyone I speak to I'm so impressed. I feel I had the best with Kane and Callum.Ive been a nurse all my career of 36 years and their people skills and communication skills are excellent and that's so important when dealing with such a important and stressful issues to do with money.
