I am extremely disappointed with Tesco Bank Insurance.

I am extremely disappointed with Tesco Bank Insurance. After being a loyal driver with 12 years of No Claims Discount (NCD), I made a claim following an unfortunate accident. Not only did they significantly undervalue my car when processing the claim, but they also slashed my NCD from 12 years down to just 3 years! This feels incredibly unfair and unprofessional, especially as I’ve never had a claim in over a decade. Their customer service is unhelpful, and they seem more interested in taking money than providing fair and transparent services to their customers. I expected much better from a well-known insurance provider. If you’re considering insuring your car with Tesco Bank Insurance, think twice—there are much better options out there that value customer loyalty and offer fairer claims processes. Cancelled insurance

I got my insurance with Tesco bank and they sent an email asking for proof of my no claims, in the email they said if they didn’t receive it my policy would be cancelled in 7days. I sent my proof of no claims and 7days later my policy was still cancelled! When I called to ask what was going on I was told the department that cancelled the policy was closed and they couldn’t discuss it with me and told me to call Back in the morning. When I did I was told that I hadn’t sent all the documents they needed, they want a copy of my v5, back to back of my licence etc etc.(things I’ve never been asked for before when getting insurance) I told them that I hadn’t been asked for these documents in the email and it was the first I had heard of it. If I had known why would I only send one document in? It doesn’t make sense for me not to do that! They said they had sent a letter which I didn’t receive and that was that. There was nothing they could do, my policy was cancelled and I was never allowed insurance with them again! Terrible customer service and would never use them again. Reviewed on: 16th July 2019

Year car insuranxe

They are a decent amount every year, however they do keep trying to up my policy for no reason apart from it being a new year. They will match what I find when I argue it though so this is why I have stayed with them. Reviewed on: 7th July 2019

Cheaper renewal quote
