Not reliable

I had a bad experience ordering currency recently and only ended up getting it several days late. It turns out their website is very misleading about what actually happens when you order currency - when someone places an order for currency online, the currency is not actually ordered immediately but is instead sent to the bureau at the specific store to actually order the currency. If they are unavailable - e.g. sickness - the order might be indefinitely delayed - so that even when the bureau reopens, the currency is still not there. In addition, they don't even reserve the currency you've already paid for, so by the time they do get round to ordering it, it might well be out of stock for the less common currencies. If you do order from them I suggest immediately following up to make sure the order has been placed. Reviewed on: 31st July 2026

Damaged money

I bought 700 dollars for my trip to SE Asia. Nearly half of them have been refused for having rips and pen marks. Will never use them again. Reviewed on: 14th February 2026

Really great service

I ordered correct for a forthcoming holiday from Tesco currency exchange. I selected to collect this from Tesco Superstore in Evesham. The currency was due to be collected after 3.00pm however I arrived at 1.00pm due to a doctors appointment. I was quite prepared to be turned away however it was a long trip home to then return. The lady on the desk went out of her way to find the currency, prepare it for me so that I didn’t have to come back. The lady’s name was Sue and she was brilliant. Reviewed on: 8th January 2026

Ordered us dollars online to picked up at a named st...

Ordered us dollars online to picked up at a named store. Arrived to pick up on the stated date but no currency there. Was advised that tesco currency was a separate conpany. Telephoned the number given and was told it was the couriers fault and to try the next working day. DO NOT USE. Reviewed on: 5th December 2025

Efficient and friendly service!

We went into the EveshamTesco store to buy a Currency Card and to get Australian, New Zealand and Singapore dollars. It was quite a complicated affair but Zoe, the lady who looked after us, was excellent. She was very efficient and couldn’t have been more helpful. Can't specify denominations

Ordered some US Dollars for home delivery. Asked for a mixture of denominations but was told it was not possible to specify specific notes. Something you need to rectify Tesco. Reviewed on: 5th October 2025

Shocking service

Ordered a considerable amount of US Dollars on Mon 29th Sept 10am to be delivered by Tues 30th 1pm. Waited in. When nothing arrived by 5pm rang and were told our par el had been misrouted. Assured would be delivered Wed 1st October. Waited in. When no delivery by 1pm, rang. No i formation from Royal Mail. We're offered the option of picking up from airport or a store.Requested Tesco try to find out order and deliver it to our house as agreed asap. Still waiting. Very stressful!Will never use Tesco Travel money again. Reviewed on: 1st October 2025
