Rip off

Not impressed at all ! After paying an excess fee we find out a percentage excess fee has been introduced so paying 2 excess fees sheer greed ! No other way to describe this company. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023
Reply from The Insurance Emporium Good morning, We are sorry to hear of your comments. As with some other insurers, we may introduce a percentage excess as well as the fixed excess, if we deem there to be an increased risk such as a pet getting older for example. This is fairly normal within the pet insurance industry. The excess requirements are detailed within the policy wording which is provided no less than 4 weeks prior to each annual review, This allows policyholders the time to review the terms of cover offered and decide if the policy is still suited to their needs. We note within the policy renewal letter that premiums and excesses can go up or down, and that the relevant sections should be considered. Brilliant company no fuss and fast

My cat had to have eye surgery He was seen on the 10/08 for surgery and they had accepted the claim form from the vets on the 14/08 and paid for the surgery on the 22/08 have been with them for over 5 years and they have been helpful and always friendly by phone or email . And by far the cheapest company for his insurance to as he is nearly 9 Now. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023
